The chief photographer and creative force behind the Studio, Andrew Blaxland, has come a long way since pestering his parents for a camera way back when he was 8 years old. Andrew commandeered the storeroom in the family home and transformed it into a darkroom where the first of his portraits were developed and his vivid signature style began to emerge. Andrews’ enthusiasm and talent for his craft has flourished over the ensuing years and that first storeroom darkroom has now become a state of the art studio on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Hundreds of individuals and families have since enjoyed the Blaxland Studio Experience and have been delighted with the results. With a family that includes 3 immensely photogenic children of his own (an obviously unbiased statement…) Andrew has an unmatched talent at ensuring the photographic experience is relaxed, spontaneous, fresh and FUN.
